On this day in 1991 Miles Davis passed. I remember it like it was yesterday and there's not a day that goes by that I don't think of him. I'm eternally grateful for the the opportunity I had to work with him and learn from him. Here's a clip of his last show at Jazz a Vienne playing "Hannibal", a composition I wrote for his album Amandla that was released in 1989. Thank you Miles…we miss you.
